Of all the sales I ever closed, this is my best one ever. . .

If it is hard to write about yourself, it is even harder to sell yourself. There are so many things that we'd like to change before we meet the person of our dreams. Maybe it's a little past time for a haircut. Maybe the good watch is home in a drawer. With so much riding on that first contact, how could we ever be so unprepared? Like it is for other men, I knew this was a sale I wanted to close - to sell myself and the rest of my life with the woman I was born to marry.

In spite of stumbling through my pitch, the lady with the heart of gold said yes to her eager Air Force boyfriend, and became my fiancé. The blessings of life multiplied - you can see our first five - and it just gets better with number six on the way. I never imagined that family would feel so good, or provide me with endless ambition. When I was young, I wanted a fancy watch and a cool car. Now I want something so much more - a way to contribute to the family I treasure beyond anything on earth. Meet my motivation - Shannon, and the kids.

Now that you've read my story, let me share a little more about Wes Schaeffer, sales trainer, business consultant, and family man. I am a third degree in the Knights of Columbus, as well as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Martha's in Murrietta. My professional affiliations are with the Rotary Club, a charter member of the Temecula Valley Optimists Club, the Temecula chapter of BNI, and a full member with the Irvine, Temecula and Murrietta Chambers of Commerce. The Air Force had the benefit of my services for 9 years, where I achieved the rank of Captain. My service included tours in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
