USAFA GRADUATE · AF VETERAN · BJJ BLACK BELT · FATHER OF 7 · 800+ PODCASTS · 2X AUTHOR

Wes Schaeffer has sold mobile homes in the Deep South, technology to Sprint, Google, and Apple, and for nearly 20 years has trained thousands of founders and sales teams worldwide. He doesn't talk about sales theory. He's been in the room, closed the deal, and built the business.

"A skilled speaker, Wes had the audience's full attention. I would highly recommend having him as a speaker should the opportunity present itself."
— Rex Oliver IOM, ACE, President/CEO, Murrieta Chamber of Commerce

"Before I even got home, I doubled my membership numbers, did $3,200 in my first webinar, and raised prices 423%. You gave a backbone to this spineless work-at-home mom."
— San Diego DigiCon Attendee

Signature Talks

Every talk is customized to your audience. These are Wes's most-requested.

1. Everything Is Sales — And You're Always Selling

Best for: Opening keynotes, sales teams, leadership conferences

Most people — even professional salespeople — don't realize how much of daily life is negotiation. This talk dismantles that blind spot permanently. Attendees leave knowing how every conversation either advances or hinders their goals, and how to use that knowledge to get what they want.

2. AI Isn't Coming for Your Job — Your Competitor Using AI Is

Best for: Keynotes, executive teams, sales and marketing departments

Not a TED talk about the future. A hands-on breakdown of how salespeople are using AI right now to write faster, follow up better, and close more deals — while their competitors are still figuring out the login.

3. Extreme Ownership of Your Sales Process

Best for: Sales kickoffs, leadership retreats, high-performance teams

Borrowed from the military doctrine Wes lived as a USAF officer. If your pipeline is weak or your close rate is low, there is one person responsible. This talk is a direct, disciplined challenge to own every result — and install the daily habits that create predictable revenue.

4. Date My Daughters...Please

Best for: Opening keynotes, entrepreneurship conferences, general audiences

The title is intentional. In 2023, the word of the year was "Rizz" — slang for charisma — and most adults don't have it. This funny, disarming talk uses the uncomfortable truth about boys at prom to teach professionals how to own their space, make the ask, and close with confidence.

5. When's the Last Time You Did Something for the First Time?

Best for: Closing keynotes, leadership development, company culture events

At 46, Wes started BJJ and trained 5–6 days a week from day one despite never having grappled. Eight years later: black belt. This isn't a story about BJJ. It's about what happens when you stop avoiding the hard thing — and what your attendees could build with that same discipline.

How Wes Works With Your Event

Wes isn't a show-up-and-speak guy.

Before the event: Listening sessions to understand your audience. Optional remote workshops to build anticipation. Promotional content your team can use to drive registration and buzz.

At the event: Opening or closing keynote. Breakout sessions. Panel participation. Emcee support if needed. He arrives early and stays late.

After the event: Reinforcement sessions to lock in the lessons. Follow-up content for your attendees. Ready to come back next year.
